Accounted for.

## Separate the numbers.

Keep physical stock and commitments visible together. Available means on hand minus reserved.

02 /

## Follow the movement.

Receipts, transfers, sales and returns belong in a connected history, with a reason behind each change.

03 /

## Buy with context.

Put availability beside incoming stock and replenishment rules before deciding what to order.

| 02 · Reservation | 144 | 24 | 120 |

03 / THE DECISION, IN VIEW

## A number you can explain.

Purchasing needs more than a low-stock warning. Make the calculation visible, so your team can question the lead time, check incoming quantities and agree the next order.

1. **Start with availability**Keep committed units out of your promise.
2. **Check the threshold**Demand during lead time, plus a safety buffer.
3. **Respect the purchase pack**Round the shortfall up to a quantity you can buy.
